To inspire employees' innovative thinking and empower them toward the goals of improving quality, reducing costs, and boosting efficiency—thereby enhancing the company's overall operational effectiveness—Keyuan Pharmaceutical launched a company-wide proposal improvement campaign in the fourth quarter of 2024. Since the initiative was kicked off, it has received an enthusiastic response from employees, who have actively submitted valuable suggestions tailored to their respective areas of work. These proposals span across multiple dimensions, including production, management, technology, and safety, vividly demonstrating employees' deep insights into the company's development as well as their strong sense of ownership and commitment.
Recently, Keyuan Pharmaceutical (stock code: 301281.SZ) successfully held its Q4 2024 Proposal Improvement Review Event, where awards—including the First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize, and Encouragement Award—were presented to recognize employees who excelled in the proposal improvement initiative. Company executives, heads of various departments, and employee representatives attended the event together, celebrating this milestone of innovative achievements.
This proposal improvement initiative received a total of 121 valid suggestions. After rigorous screening, 31 proposals advanced to the final review stage. Among them, the "Improved Solution: Adding an Additional Filter to the Vacuum Pump's Vacuum Pipeline" submitted by the Gliclazide Division won first prize for its remarkable achievements in cost reduction and efficiency enhancement. Meanwhile, the "Scheme to Integrate Steam Condensate into the Hot Water Tank," proposed by Factory No. 3, and the "Proposal to Enhance Isopentyl Alcohol Recovery Rate," from Factory No. 4, each took home second prize. Additionally, several other outstanding proposals were awarded third prize and encouragement awards.
The proposal improvement initiative is not only a tool for "identifying and solving problems," but also the intrinsic driving force behind the company's sustained growth. This round of proposal improvement activities fully highlights the importance of innovation and participation from everyone across the organization. Many of the proposed ideas have successfully transformed from "small insights" into "significant benefits" through seamless collaboration among multiple departments.
