On February 10, the bidding process for the new round of follow-up procurement of drugs from the first to eighth batches of nationally centralized drug procurement yielded preliminary winning results. This round of follow-up procurement was jointly organized by the National Healthcare Security Administration, with Jiangsu, Henan, and Guangdong provinces serving as joint lead agencies, and was implemented nationwide in a coordinated manner. It achieved “three unifications”—unified procurement rules, standardized operational procedures, and a consistent market scope—marking an important milestone in deepening and systematizing the reform of centralized drug procurement.
